You are Definitely in the right place for Sara Brown, an author and educator for nearly 30 years, and recipient of the Readers’ Favorite 5-star Award, the International Firebird Award, and the Literary Titan Gold Award.

At age five, Sara taught stories to a class of stuffed animals and dolls under a willow tree. Thus began Willow Tree Tales. These early experiences led to a career that inspired real students.

After leaving the willow tree, Sara graduated from Houghton College, earned a Master of Science in Education in Reading from the State University of New York at Geneseo, completed a Graduate Certificate in Mind, Brain, and Teaching from Johns Hopkins University and has led professional development seminars for fellow educators.

Her classroom experiences inspire her books and reflect her passion for empowering children.

She hopes her latest Grow Together Tales will help instill kindness and empathy in young children, encouraging them to practice these values in their daily lives.
