You are Definitely in the right place for Sara Brown, an author and educator for nearly 30 years, and recipient of the Readers’ Favorite 5-star award.

At age five, Sara taught and told stories to a class of stuffed animals and toy dolls under the willow tree. Thus began Willow Tree Tales. These early experiences led to a career that inspired real students.

After leaving the willow tree, Sara graduated from Houghton College. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Education degree in Reading from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a Graduate Certificate in Mind, Brain, and Teaching from Johns Hopkins University and has led professional development seminars for fellow educators.

Her classroom experiences inspire her books and reflect her passion for empowering students.

Sara hopes her latest book, Definitely, will help instill kindness and empathy in young children, encouraging them to practice these virtues in their daily lives.
